Best Dressed: Oscars Red Carpet 2019
From chiffon to metallic, there were looks on last night’s Oscars Red Carpet guaranteed to make you stare. Here are the top 10 best dressed celebrities to walk the red carpet:
At number one is Emilia Clarke wearing a beautiful lavender-hued custom Balmain gown that made everyone at home stare in awe.
The Crazy Rich Asians star earned her number two spot with an Elie Saab Haute Couture gown that showed off the metallic trend.
The lady of the hour, coming in at number three, earned a special place in our hearts with her sculptural Alexander McQueen gown paired with the iconic 126.54 carat Tiffany & Co. yellow diamond that was last worn by Audrey Hepburn.
Number four on this list is Jennifer Lopez in Tom Ford, who managed to make metallic mosaic look stunning.
The most jaw-dropping look of the night was Billy Porter in a Christian Siriano tuxedo gown, and we can all agree that this looked KILLED, earning him number five on this list.
The recent six time Grammy winner wore Giambattista Valli on the Oscars red carpet. This look is definitely an acquired taste, and normally the layered chiffon-tulle look would be on the NOT list, but the singer pulled it off perfectly.
Number seven on this list had all the girls (and boys!) at home fawning over him in his mauve-pink Fendi suit. One word: Gorgeous.
This sheer Miu Miu crystal chain gown made everyone do a double take for all the right reasons. Tasteful “nudity” is always in.
A black suit rarely makes the best dressed list, but this one couldn’t be ignored. The wrap-dress-like Dior suit made an impact on viewers at home, earning the actor the number nine spot. Not bad for a black suit.
