The Rising Tide of UFO Sightings and the Need for More Discussion
Are we alone? As much as we want to believe, we are still unsure. It's hard to completely rule out the idea that other intelligent life forms exist because there is still so much we don't know.
What are UFOS?
The phenomenon of UFOs, or unidentified flying objects, has captured the public's attention for decades and includes everything from mysterious aircraft that move at seemingly impossible speeds to unexplained lights in the sky. The sheer volume of reports from reliable witnesses, including pilots, military personnel, and even government officials, suggests that there may be more to this mystery than meets the eye, despite skeptics dismissing these sightings as nothing more than figments of the imagination.
Over the past several years, evidence of UFOs has been accumulating.
"We now have frame-by-frame analysis of these objects. These objects travel between Mach 5 and Mach 20. That's twenty times the speed of sound. These objects can zigzag... The g-forces are several hundred times the force of gravity… Any living person's bones would be crushed by these objects, so they're probably drones.” Michio Kaku states this on the Joe Rogan Experience. These objects can also move without creating an exhaust or breaking the sound barrier and going underwater.
The First UFO
In 1947, the first well-known UFO sighting occurred when businessman Kenneth Arnold flew his small plane near Mount Rainier in Washington. Arnold claimed to see nine crescent-shaped objects flying several thousand miles per hour. They moved “like saucers skipping on water,” Arnold states.
Are UFOs relevant today?
In December 2020, a 180-day countdown began for US intelligence agencies to release what they know about UFOs to Congress after President Donald Trump signed the coronavirus relief bill. The bill requires US intelligence agencies to release annual reports that should include any potential national security threats posed by UFOs. It should also assess whether the nation’s adversaries could be behind the reported activity. In 2021, AARO’s yearly report of 144 sightings covered a 17-year span. At the end of August 2022, in the new report, AARO had collected 247 new UFO reports.
In February 2023, four flying objects were shot down over the U.S. and Canada. While one of them has been identified as a Chinese balloon, the other three remain unknown. Glen VanHerk says he doesn't think aliens have visited, nor does he think humans are the only ones in this universe. These other three objects have not been ruled out as non-UFOs. Although nothing is confirmed yet, coverage of this story has caused more people to keep an eye out for UFOs.
My Experience With UFOs
I was never one to believe in UFOs until one summer night in June of 2020. My friends and I noticed a bright light that appeared overhead. While I stared at the object, it silently vanished into the distance, making zigzag movements at a speed I’d never seen before. This left me and my friends convinced something else was out there. I was never one to believe in UFOs until one summer night in June of 2020. In 2020, there were 137 UFO sightings in New Jersey. You can find all of the reports of UFO sightings in New Jersey in 2020 here.
I am no astrophysicist, and I can't speak the language of the people who do it so well, but there's reason to remain curious. Whether it's a little green alien operating the ship or a military pilot, UFOs have been proven to be real, and I think it's just the tip of the iceberg. Nevertheless, there are things the American people deserve to know, and we are ready to learn.
