The Lexington Line Launch Party

The Lexington Line’s launch party was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who came and joined in on all the fun!

Vera Bradley’s flagship store is located in SoHo on West Broadway. Upon entering the store, you are greeted with bright colors and a warm and inviting environment. Merchandise lines the walls, ranging from backpacks, to towels, and tumblers. One wall that immediately catches your attention is full of luggage tags with a quote in the middle that reads, “Treat yourself to a bouquet of flowers, just because.” The new patterns, which include colorful stamps, flowers, and abstract designs, really popped against the dark wooden floors. Next to the cash wrap there is a wall lined with clear jars containing colorful candies, which was sponsored by Sugarfina.

During the launch, the store director, Bridgette, and co-director, Kathy, welcomed all the guests with positive energy and bright smiles. I spoke with both of them regarding the re-launch of the brand and they both had only good things to say. Bridgette explained that the company’s new target customer is the 24-34-year-old woman who is always on the go.

“We wanted to create functionality with our new pieces while also staying true to the brand,” Kathy explains. “Our new merchandise is elevated and much more fashion forward. We wanted to stay true to the brand while also incorporating the new patterns and products.”

The founders of Vera Bradley, Patricia Miller and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, are always popping into the stores to see how everything is going and if their operations are running smoothly.

“We love when they stop by to see how the company is doing. They are super sweet and so much fun to be around,” Bridgette says about Miller and Baekgaard.

Bridgette went on to talk about the charity work that the company does, which a lot of people don’t know about. “We are very proud and fortunate to say that we have raised 27.1 million dollars for the Breast Cancer Foundation to date, and have 25 researchers at Indiana University who research and learn more about the disease so that we can educate people during our fundraisers,” she explains.

Thank you to Vera Bradley for donating to such a great cause and thank you to Bridgette and Kathy for allowing us to host our launch party in their new store.

I recommend checking out the new collection and store!
