Inday: Karma on the Go
There’s no denying that LIM students are always on the move. Sometimes we get so caught up in our work that we forget to eat, and though there’s no guaranteeing that skipping a meal will be worth it, getting your daily dose of good karma will.
Indian-inspired restaurant Inday recently opened up its new location on 3rd Avenue between 44th and 45th Streets. The name Inday, short for “India every day,” earned its reputation for delivering quality Indian food quickly. The restaurant serves a fresh mix of tropical and urban vibes with a minimalistic interior design and a killer playlist featuring Rihanna, Mac Miller and The xx.
Launched back in 2015, Inday offers a variety of balanced bowls that range from grilled chicken and slow braised lamb to green falafel and chickpea curry. Inday also offers delicious desserts such as seasonal yogurt and avocado cocoa custard. Founder and entrepreneur Basu Ratnam says it’s perfect for “people who are looking for a more mindful and balanced approach to living.” All items on their menu are organic and offers either gluten free, dairy free, or vegan options.
Between the spices and vibrancy incorporated in Inday’s dishes, these healthy energy bowls are packed with flavor and guaranteed to give you the fuel you need to get through the rest of your week.
