NYFW: Rossi Tuxedo Fashion Show
Rossi Tuxedo is a brand for bad-ass women who know who they are and want what they want. Their NYFW show was definitely the best display of a women’s tuxedo brand that I’ve ever seen. The show took place on Feb. 11 at the Consulate of Argentina. This building had a beautifully decorated interior with incredible artwork on every wall. It definitely didn’t feel like the traditional fashion show, but it was better than I could have ever anticipated. The runway took place through three different rooms where each of the attendees were diversified. The chance to be so up-close with the models allowed a deep connection with each and every piece. Every single item was stunning and jaw-dropping.
With deep plunge necklines or shoulder pads, there’s a different style for every type of women out there. No two items looked the same. Each item was built in its own unique and beautiful design. There were beautiful accents of silver and gold to glisten up each models’ looks. A lot of the pieces were often in black and white, but there were also pops of red and other striking colors. Most items were also solid colors as well, except for the infrequent plaid and gingham style. I think it was a great addition for the touches of those styles to give an alternative option to the solid styles.
After the show, I had the opportunity to speak with one of the models. When I asked her what she loved about this brand she said, “I love how diverse it is. That’s important and I think it’s cool that it’s not super girly; it’s just like right in the middle. It’s perfect for anyone you want to be.” Along with that, I asked her who she thought the perfect customer would be. “I think people who are go-getters… people that want to make a difference in any field that they’re working in right now,” she said.
We wrapped up our mini-interview with girl power to the max. To add on to the perfect customer, she said, “They want to see fire. They want to see models who will give good face and walk with power and confidence, not just be someone’s toy to dress.” From each model to each individual piece, you can feel the energy of female empowerment. If you want to be your own girl boss, check out Rossi Tuxedo.
