5 Trendy Halloween Makeup Looks

Halloween can be exciting with parties, candy, and costumes but it can also be stressful. I am sure we can all relate to waiting until the last minute to decide on a costume. Why not look into your makeup bag and see what you can create with your everyday makeup items?

Here are 5 trendy and easy-to-do makeup looks for last-minute Halloween costumes:

1. Poison Ivy, DC COMICS

For the Poison Ivy look you can start off with your everyday base makeup routine. This includes your foundation, concealer, setting powder, bronzer, and blush. To prep the skin you can use the Milk Hydro Grip Primer, $34. This will allow all your base makeup to stay put all night long. To make this more glamorous you can add highlight and contour.

Begin, by contouring your cheekbones, forehead, nose, and jawline by using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit, $40. Apply the Benefit Cosmetics highlighter in ‘Cookie’, $30, for a beaming highlight.

Onto eye shadow, the Just My Luck 9- pan eyeshadow from Colourpop; $14, is perfect for this look. Start off by applying ‘Kiss My Hass’ all over the lid and into the crease. Next, apply ‘Act Natural’ to define the crease and ‘Mo Bamba’ to darken the outer corner. Lastly, add ‘Mary Jane’ to the inner corner and a bit onto the lid for a sparkle.

Applying mascara, false lashes, and eyeliner is optional. For the finishing touches apply the Fenty Beauty Stunna lip paint in shade ‘Uncensored’, $25, and set with the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist, $16 to lock in the look to last all throughout the night!

2. BellaTrix Lestrange, harry Potter

The Bellatrix makeup look is very easy to recreate. The look is mainly creating shadows on the face to create the allusion of sunken cheekbones and a thinner, smaller nose.

Start with a lighter foundation than your skin tone. Next, begin contouring using a cool tone contour or eyeshade to create hollowed cheekbones.

Apply the same cool tone shadow to your nose; create two straight lines close together on the bridge and blend to contour. Lastly, apply red shadow around the eyes and messily apply a nude lip.

3.Mia Wallace, Pulp Fiction

To achieve the Mia Wallace look, start off with a natural matte foundation that provides coverage but appears to look like skin. A foundation that would achieve this look is the Dior Forever Matte Foundation, $52.

For the eyes apply a wash of brown shadow in the crease. Apply a winged liner with the Glossier Pro Tip liquid liner, $16 and mascara.

Lastly, apply the Fenty Beauty Stunna lip paint in ‘Uncensored, $25 and fake blood to your nose. The last touch to completing this look is the wig. A short, black bob-styled wig with bangs can be found on Amazon, retailing for $26.99.

4.Harley Quinn, DC COMICs

To start off the Harley Quinn look, a great full coverage foundation would be the Fenty Beauty Pro Filter, $36. For eyes; use the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette, $18. Apply the pink shade to one eye and the blue to the other messily. A great brush to pack on the eyeshadow would be the Morphe M1660 Oval Shadow Brush, $4. To buff and blend out the edges using the Morphe M433 Blending Brush, $9.

To achieve the heart on Harley’s face use the Milk Makeup Tattoo Stamp; $12. To carefully write ‘ROTTEN’ on the side of your lower cheek use the Glossier Pro Tip liner, $16. Finally, apply the NYX Suede Matte lip liner to create a sharp lip liner for a precise application. On top of the lip liner apply the NYX Matte lipstick in shade ‘Perfect Red’, $6.

Vampire

To start off the Vampire look, a dewy and light coverage base would be perfect; the Dior Backstage Face and Body Glow, $38 will give a radiant effect.

On the eyes, apply a light brown shade to the crease and under the eye. To create the veins under the eye, use a small, precise brush and dip into the red shade in the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette, $16. Draw skinny lines coming down from your lower lash line.

Apply mascara and lashes if wanted. A great pair of lashes are the Ardell Demi Wispies, $11.99. Finish off with fake blood around the mouth and vampire fangs.
