Next, we have the perfect fall classic that will have you once again ask yourself: “Team Edward or Jacob?” The Twilight Series written by Stephanie Meyers follows the infamous love story of protagonists Bella and Edward as they are faced with sinister obstacles. This series will definitely get you in an autumn mood, but if you what something a little different, Stephanie Meyer’s other novel Midnight Sun, which is a retelling of Twilight from Edward's perspective instead of Bella’s.

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is perfect for those of you who are obsessed with the 1970s vibe. Protagonist Daisy is a free-spirited girl that goes through life carrying around a “go-with-the-flow” motto. Daisy, as a writer and singer, wants to break into the music industry, but her songs are not what the producers want. To add, she refuses to sing others' work. Six other musicians with the same manager as Daisy suggest that she sing one of their songs. This leads to her joining the band. Daisy Jones and the Six takes you on a journey that gives you insight into the character’s personal lives and what endures them.

Considering it is “spooky season”, this next novel is perfect for those of you that are interested in unsolved crimes. Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson is set at Ellingham Academy, a highly known private school in Vermont founded by Albert Ellingham. While the school was open his wife and daughter were kidnapped, resulting in a huge mystery around campus. This intrigues our main character Stevie Bell, who is in her first year. Being the true-crime lover that she is, she has a plan to solve the cold case surrounding the disappearance. As she digs deeper, truly devious returns and death once again roams over the academy.

Dive into the Greek tragedy The Maidens by Alex Michaelides and follow Mariana after learning that her niece’s friend Tara is murdered.
