6 Fall Coffee Recipes to Make You Melt
Curating the perfect fall drink can be more than just your basic Pumpkin Spice Latte. The world is filled with endless amounts of flavors for you to try. While I’m somewhat a pumpkin enthusiast, I can admit it is not the end-all, be-all. There is chai, maple, cinnamon, and so many other flavors to indulge in.
Here are a few recipies to spice up your morning coffee this fall!
Brown Sugar Dirty Chai
Chai tea is essential for me during the fall and winter. It’s warm, spicy, and everything that the season embodies. While tea already contains a decent amount of caffeine, if you’re a coffee addict like me, you can add some espresso to really make it over the top. The coffee definitely strengthens the spices in the chai.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp of brown sugar syrup (optional)
This recipe can be made hot or iced. The first step is to make your espresso. Depending on how the espresso is being made, you can brew the brown sugar with the coffee or pour it over. While your espresso is brewing, grab a glass, and pour in your chai tea and milk. Once your coffee is done brewing you’ll want to immediately pour that over the milk and chai. Then, voila – you have yourself a brown sugar dirty chai!
Oatmeal Latte
This drink tastes like Quaker Oats Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal straight from the packet. A piping hot bowl of oatmeal with lots of toppings always reminds me of the fall time. This recipe was discovered on TikTok. Though the creator of this recipe did delete all her media from the app, I was able to find a replica video by the creator, @marandaoo, for a step-by-step visual.
· Ingredients:
- A dash of cinnamon
Pumpkin Spice Latte
The perfect pumpkin spice latte is still yet to be discovered, however, this recipe is a close second. I used to be anti-pumpkin-spice. This recipe made me a believer. Don’t be intimidated by the tedious amount of ingredients as it is a very simple process.
· Ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk

Cinnamon Pumpkin Cupcake Latte
This recipe was crafted by TikTok creator and barista, Georgia May. She makes lots of unique coffee recipes just like this one. The latte is made with sugar, spice, and everything nice.
· Ingredients:
Salted Caramel Cold Brew
Caramel is overlooked during the fall time. Yes, it is literally everywhere, but I feel caramel is still not appreciated enough. Paired with flaky sea salt, this drink is the perfect mix of sweet and savory.
· Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup of cold brew (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tbsp of salted caramel syrup
- Milk of choice
Depending on your preference, you can make a homemade cold brew or buy it from your local grocery store. There are numerous ways to recreate this recipe. Instead of just pouring your milk and adding the toppings, you can froth your milk. Doing this makes your drink extra foamy and delicious. After pouring the milk and brew, add a caramel drizzle and salt, then you’re set.
Smores Latte
Roasting marshmallows by a bonfire is one of my favorite fall activities. Let’s just hope with this recipe, your marshmallows won’t end up burnt to a crisp like mine. This recipe was curated by, Chef Denisse Salinas of Le Petit Eats, a small catering business in Santa Barbara, California.
· Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp of crushed graham cracker

For some, making coffee at home became the new normal. The trend started out small with whipped coffee and then slowly grew into something more. According to the Wall Street Journal, consumers making coffee at home gave Nestlé SA its largest quarterly sales in almost a decade. Yes, others went back to buying $8 coffees at Starbucks immediately after they re-opened. However, there are still a small few who still like to make coffee in the comfort of their home. If you are still one of those people, then one of these recipes will be perfect for you.
