Telfar Teases New Clutch Bags

Very few brands have consumers in a chokehold as Telfar does. Liberian-American designer Telfar Clemens's brand has built a community around his cult-favorite vegan leather bags and “accessible luxury” values. This past summer, after Beyoncé was spotted wearing a white Telfar bag, people feared that these impossible-to-get shopping bags would rise in price.
The brand quickly shut down these rumors in an Instagram story, letting their community know the prices would remain the same. They had a successful 2021 launching their television network Telfar TV, dropped a gorgeous duffle bag, collaborated with multiple brands, including the popular UGG x Telfar collab, came out with new shopping bag colors, designed Liberia’s Olympic uniforms, and the list goes on. 2022 is already looking extremely promising for the brand.
Personal stylist Amanda Murray caused a social media frenzy when she posted a mirror selfie with a never-before-seen Telfar bag this week on her Instagram story. In one photo, Murray shows off the black clutch, designed around Telfar’s circular T and C logo, while holding the top handle. In another, a crossbody strap is attached to the bag. No word has come out about an official release date but we’re all thankful for the sneak peek. Knowing how dependable the brand is, we can definitely be expecting a release date for the clutches this year.

About a day later, Telfar posted a new color launch on their Instagram. The Leaf colored shopping bags were launched (and quickly sold out) on Thursday, January 27th. This came two weeks after another new color launch and the brand's third Bag Security program. Bag Security was created in response to their items selling out in minutes and the brand’s promise of accessibility. Clearly, Telfar is going to continue on giving what needs to be given. Quite honestly, we Telfar lovers are definitely not mad about it.
