Kylie Jenner's Keeping Up with Trends From this Past Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week is a time for celebrities to pull together all of their best looks. Attending a fashion show at PFW is not for the ensembly-challenged, so creating looks that surely make a statement is only appropriate. It’s safe to say this time around that Kylie Jenner understood the assignment to the max. Of course, this was no surprise since she has continuously made waves in terms of her style.
Throughout this Paris Fashion Week, Jenner took some fashionable and unexpected risks with her ensemble choices by implementing some trends from this Autumn/Winter season, while also connecting her looks to each of the shows she attended.
At SCHIAPARELLI
For the Schiaparelli S/S’23 presentation Kylie wore a custom blue velvet Schiaparelli dress by Daniel Roseberry. This outfit gave off total Evil Queen vibes, while adhering to the classic drama Schiaparelli brings with every new collection. As many of us know, statement jewelry is in for this A/W season, and Ms. Jenner did not hesitate to incorporate the trend by adding a black heart choker to complete the look.
At LOEWE
For Loewe’s S/S’23 presentation Kylie went for a minimal, yet daring look which fits the bill for Loewe’s S/S’23 show as well as some of their previous collections. The look was created entirely with Loewe’s pieces from the glasses down to the underwear. As far as trends go, Kylie put her own spin on the basic white tee look, as well as including a mesh element with tights.
At COPERNI
Kylie showed up to the Coperni’s S/S’23 show in a floral PVC bustier-style mini dress, and matching shoes. Of course, the look is derived from the new collection and takes inspiration from A/W trends like corseted waists, mini dresses/skirts, and futuristic sunglasses. She also took a different angle with her makeup, going for a bleached brow and nude lip combo.
At MUGLER
For the BoF 500 Gala, Kylie Jenner came through with a sheer black lace illusion gown by Mugler. According to Elle, the look “included lace panels wrapped around a matching sheer black catsuit, a gathered train to one side, and pieces of the sleeves spiraling around her arms to create gloves.” This look was definitely perfect for Paris Fashion Week, and it also incorporated A/W trends such as mesh and transparent fabrics, dark grunge-inspired fashion, and tight-fitting catsuits.
At BALENCIAGA
For Balenciaga’s S/S’23 show Kylie made yet another bold statement with her look. Wearing a furry Balenciaga hot pink maxi-length dress paired with a black pouch, black heels, and another pair of unique sunglasses. She tied in some aspects from Balenciaga’s S/S’23 show such as touches of pink and futuristic sunglasses. These are also trends from this A/W season, with Barbiecore pink still going strong.
At ACNE STUDIOS
Kylie attended the Acne Studio’s Spring/Summer 2023 show in a gorgeous greige gown with batwing-inspired sleeves from the designer. Her look incorporated trends from this season including a maxi-length dress, statement jewelry, and large rimmed sunglasses. She also had hints of the designer’s new collection by adding spiked earrings for the statement jewelry, and a neutral color palette.
OUT ON THE PARISIAN TOWN
Last and most certainly not least, we have this sheer-red number that Kylie wore on a night out during PFW. She wore a dress by Dilara Findikoglu from her S/S’ 23 collection that featured perfectly placed red pieces of fabric under a sheer nude dress with a high neck and a keyhole cut out at the bust. She accessorized the look with a matching red bag and a pair of clear Gianvito Rossi heels. This look was definitely a favorite for many, with no question as to why. Her added touch of red was giving all of the “Lava Falls” vibes, which if you didn’t know already is trending for this Fall and Winter.
