Y2Coach: The Iconic Brand Reissues Their Demi Bag
Picture this: it is a late afternoon at your local thrift store, and you find a mint condition Coach Demi Bag that someone most likely bought when it was first released. Then, you’re scrolling through your Instagram and see that Coach announced the reissue of this iconic bag.
That was my POV- and I could not be any more excited.

Growing up, Coach was the only designer I was able to afford. The iconic monogrammed “C” could be seen on every bag, wristlet, and sneaker I owned. I lost touch with my inner Coach-girl, and when I found that Demi Bag at the thrift store, that love was rekindled.
Coach announced the reissue of the iconic bag on November 28th, and I dropped everything to check it out on their website. These bags could not come at a more prominent time since the 2000’s craze continues to run strong within the Gen-Z fan base.
The Demi Bag was initially released in 2003. The Coach design team reimagined the bag for today’s generation of fashionistas, who are just as obsessed with the brand as their mothers were in ‘03. The campaign celebrating the new Demi Bag features model Anajah Hamilton and influencers Lumia Nocito, Gabrielle Richardson, and Lindsay Vrckovnik.
While Coach kept a similar shape and silhouette, the Demi Bag looks slightly different than it did before. The new Demi has a comfortable adjustable strap, a convenient outside zip pocket, and a spacious interior with room for all your essentials.
Perhaps the best reason to love this new bag is that it is environmentally conscious: crafted of signature jacquard and made from a blend of organic cotton and recycled plastic bottles. The bag uses special leather created from leather shavings and scraps at the tannery and is finished with an organic cotton canvas lining.
As far as price goes, the Coach Demi Bag is $295. They come in five different colors which include Oak Maple, Lake, Green, Sport Red, and Petunia. This Coach bag came out just in time for the holidays, so if you have a Coach-lover in your life or you are looking for a new bag to add to your collection, then the Demi is perfect for you.
