Is Our Favorite Euphoria Ship "Fexi" Dating IRL?

I’m sure whether you’re a Euphoria fan or not, you’ve heard of “Fexi.” One of my best friends who refuses to watch Euphoria has still seen all of the Fexi scenes. Ever since the beginning of Season 2, the ship has sailed and to say it’s an obsession is an understatement.
Now, if you’re living under a rock, let me break down what Fexi is. The ship was created between Fezco and Lexi. Fezco, played by Angus Cloud, is everyone’s favorite drug dealer. He has the biggest heart and is a total sweetheart. Lexi, played by Maude Apatow, is the shy younger sister of Cassie who is played by Sydney Sweeney. While the two are very different, opposites seem to attract in this case. What they have in common is Rue—Lexi’s childhood best friend and a previous client and close friend of Fez’s. Somehow, her addiction brought them together, and that’s probably the only positive thing that ever came from it.

Their romance blossomed at a New Year’s party where the two spent the night conversing on the couch. While the night did end with Fez beating up Nate, played by Jacob Elordi, Lexi still seemed to be swooning over him. Following that, Lexi visited the convenience store where Fez works. There was palpable tension in the air because Fez’s friend’s girlfriend Faye (Chloe Cherry) was there, which made Lexi jealous since she wasn’t aware that Faye had a boyfriend. Fez was seen being as awkward and cute as ever.
The two weren’t spotted together again until episode six when they watched Stand By Me on the couch at Fez’s house and sang together. I can’t even lie—I was definitely starting to get a little teary-eyed along with them.
Now, we are just going to ignore episode seven because there’s definitely a chance that something really bad happened to Fez since he didn’t show up to Lexi’s play. Instead, let’s stick to pretending our favorites are still singing together on the couch, alright?

Even Angus Cloud has admitted to being a big Fexi fan. He’s posted on several occasions about the couple on Instagram and Twitter, including “Fexi Takeover Activated,” as seen in the photo above. We can’t help but wonder…is our favorite TV ship also together in real life?
The two have been spotted snuggling up together several times since the season two premiere. Last week, Cloud shared a photo of them via Instagram on what appeared to be a NYC date. Even Apatow’s dad made jokes, commenting on the Instagram post, “Is this something I should be worried about?”

Unfortunately for us, this is only speculation. There are also rumors that Cloud was dating an extra from the second episode of season two and that Apatow is no longer dating Charlie Christie, who she was previously with. That’s the issue with celeb gossip, how will we ever know what’s real and what’s not?
At least for us, we’ll hopefully continue to have Fexi on screen.
