Kylie Jenner Launches Her New Clothing Brand, Khy
She has the skincare and the makeup—now it’s time for haute couture. On Tuesday, October 24, social media personality and businesswoman, Kylie Jenner, announced her newest brand venture: ‘Khy’.

The brand has officially launched as of November 1. Here is everything we know so far.
So, what is it?
Khy is a brand focused on “creativity, collaboration, and quality at an accessible price,” according to the newly minted Khy Instagram.
In an early Instagram post, Khy gave us details on the collection’s marquee piece: the trench coat. It will be made of faux leather and retail for $198.

Since posting the details on the trench coat, Jenner has received accusations that a coat priced at nearly $200 cannot be considered “accessible” as per the brand’s alleged values.
What about Kylie Swim?
Believe it or not, Kylie Jenner has made the jump to clothing before, although it didn’t turn out as well as she had hoped. Her swimwear line, Kylie Swim, launched in September 2021 and immediately received terrible publicity concerning the quality of the products, according to Cosmopolitan.
Because of the bad feedback, Kylie Swim essentially fell off the map and is no longer sold on Kylie Jenner’s own website, kyliecosmetics.com. This is perhaps why she specifically noted quality in her early statements about the brand.
Will it be worth it?
Seeing that Jenner does not have the best track record with fashion brands, it would be easy to dismiss Khy before giving the pieces a chance. However, Kylie Jenner has partnered with real designers who have more reassuring resumes within the fashion industry.
According to WSJ Magazine, Kylie has enlisted investors Jens and Emma Grede to bring her vision to fruition. Yes, the very same Jens and Emma Grede who co-founded and co-own two Kardashian brands: SKIMS and Good American.
With the inclusion of the Grede’s, Khy will likely release products of a similar quality to the other family brands. There is potential redemption for Kylie Jenner in the fashion industry.
