Dolce & Gabbana Take On Real Estate
Well known fashion house Dolce & Gabbana recently announced they are entering the real estate sector. They aim to debut three properties all over the world. The brand is looking to build residential apartments in Miami, Flordia and Marbella, Spain. Alongside the apartments, Dolce & Gabbana will open a luxury hotel in Maldives.
Dolce & Gabbana was founded in Italy by designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The brand is famous for its elaborate animal prints, pinstripes, detailed embroidery, black lace, florals, and other Italian staples. Their style blends contemporary design with Italian craftsmanship, combining modern luxury and timeless elegance. Now, they want to create further lifestyle around the brand.
Dolce & Gabbana hasn’t disclosed many details yet; however, they partnered with multiple developers.
To build poverty in Miami, Florida—Dolce & Gabbana partnered with JDS Development Group, a company specializing in property development in New York and Miami. The brand chose to work with Sierra Blanca Estates to build the property in Marbella, Spain. This company is one of the leading developers of luxury homes in Marbella and the Costa del Sol. For the hotel project in Maldives, Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with developer Dar Global, a luxury real estate company that has previously worked with many fashion brands, including Missoni, Elie Saab, and Versace.
Many bands have recently extended their business into real estate, including Louis Vuitton, Versace, Fendi, and Aston Martin. Each worked with real estate developers to create unique properties that attract high-end buyers. By doing so, the brand can build a physical presence that represents its image and attracts buyers looking for exclusivity and sophistication. Joining the real estate business is an excellent way for brands to diversify their revenue streams and build a steady income without relying on fashion trends.
