80 Degree Melodies: A 2024 Summer Playlist
After what felt like weeks of non-stop cold and rain, Monday’s 70-degree weather has had one thing on everyone’s mind—summer.
As we break free from the chains of winter, we start to look forward to the little moments of magic that summer offers us, like walking outside barefoot, driving to the beach, windows down with the radio blasting, or late-night runs to your favorite ice cream shop. That being said, nothing can quite set the tone like the perfect song.
“August” by Flipturn is a powerful start to the season, with a chill intro that evolves into a head-banging chorus. Wild Nothing’s “Letting Go” and “Chinatown” are good options if you are looking to wind down, but if you want something even more relaxing, The Velveteins have got you covered. “Daydreams” and “Last Night” are great choices to listen to pool or oceanside, soaking in the sun.
