Stylist Picks: Colette Lowry-Kirkhus

MEET COLETTE

Colette is our head stylist; after just one semester of working as a stylist for The Lexington Line, she was promoted to Stylist Director. One of her responsibilities is planning and approving all the pieces that go into your favorite looks, both for print and online. Colette has also been attending trade shows since she was in high school — Magic Show, Coterie Show, Curve Show, and Run Show, to name a few — which helped her grow her understanding and connections in this industry. However, the achievement Colette believes has shaped her the most is volunteering in Guatemala with the organization “Houses to Homes.” In Guatemala, she helped rebuild houses for families affected by natural disasters — like extreme flooding, overall decay of time, and extreme poverty. She shared that this experience “really opened her eyes to how privileged she is, it shaped her character into the person she is today, and is an experience she hopes to have the chance to repeat someday.”
