Vile Valentine

Our recent Valentine's Day shoot, "Vile Valentine," is a playoff of what many would consider the average Valentine's Day theme. We aimed to explore the range of emotions and complexities that come with the idea and feeling of love — shown by the model's expressions. By using neutral colors for the garments and pink only in the props and background, we aim to show the idea that love may be all around, but it's something that many people can't feel or see in themselves. Overall, love can be anywhere and anything, whether or not it seems apparent to the eye.
