Review of My Two Favorite Florals

One of my favorite luxuries in life is a nice perfume. Almost all perfumes are pleasant to look at but not all smell nice. It does ultimately depend on your personal taste, some people enjoy a perfume reminiscent of their grandmother’s 1980’s beach house and some don’t. There are a plethora of perfumes that I love and would recommend but today I will be talking about my two current favorite scents, Si by Giorgio Armani and Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture. They are both great, however they have their differences which I will be analyzing throughout this product review. Hopefully this will help you find your new everyday perfume.

Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture $97

First up is Juicy Couture. I have used and loved this specific fragrance for years now. It is a fruity and sweet perfume as the main key notes are princess Lilly, passion fruit, and patchouli. There are also hints of watermelon, gardenia, marigold, hyacinth, and mandarin. In my opinion it is a great mix of fruity and floral. With this perfume I typically have to spray it twice a day if I am out and about. So it isn't too bad when it comes to lasting wear. This perfume is definitely a youthful scent, perfect for girly teens and young women. The bottle itself also reflects a girly and youthful vibe with the iconic Juicy Couture dog graphic and little charms attached at the top of the bottle. The price isn't too bad either, retail is $97 for 3.4 oz which is on the lower end of prices for quality perfumes.

Si by Giorgio Armani $138

Next up is Si by Giorgio Armani. Si is also a part of the fruity floral family. The key notes are rose and woody vanilla, and it also has notes of blackcurrant nectar and mandarin. The longevity of this fragrance is great, I spray it once a day and it will last on my clothes until they are washed which I love. It is definitely a more mature fragrance even though it is fruit and floral. I think the blackcurrant adds a feminine matureness to the scent. In addition to that, the bottle also reflects a maturity with its clean and blush exterior it looks great on any fragrance counter. I found I have been reaching for this perfume more as I have exited my teen years and entered my 20s. Price wise, it is a bit pricey but it is a great investment that will last you a while and give you tons of compliments in return. She’s also perfect for a night out on the town.

In conclusion, both perfumes are great and it really depends on what you are looking for in an everyday scent. Juicy Couture is great if you want something on the cheaper side that is also reminiscent of the early 2000s. It’s flirty, fun, and feminine all while not hurting your pockets. Si, I would recommend to anyone looking to amp up their fragrance collection with something long lasting and empowering, that is great for day or night.
