Does price reflect quality?
There is a belief that the most expensive a product is, the better quality. As it may be true for some products, there are certainly very good options for lower prices. To show this, I chose my two favorite facial mists (which is something I have struggled finding for a long time) one that is high value and the other one on the lower side.
This is the product that I will be repurchasing for my entire life, as you can see, I have gone through most of it already. It is perfect for prepping for make up, it leaves the skin ready for a heavy or a light makeup! It also works as an extra hydrator for the skin before or after a moisturizing cream. I also use this after finishing my make up, it melts the make up perfectly together, makes it last and gives it a shinny glow! It is also perfect for when you want to refreshen the skin through a sunny day, or after a good workout. However, you have to know the right amount of pumps so the skin is not too greasy. You also have to be patient with it. It takes a few minutes for the skin to absorb it, I like to jump into my first make up routine while it melts. I have nothing else to say about this mist but that it is one of my forever favorites.
I would never buy myself a skincare product that would cost the same as nice handbag. I first got this product as a gift, and a few months after I found myself buying it again because of how much my skin liked it. It is a perfect celebration after a heavy, long, successful workout. It can also work during a workout, It hydrates the skin at the right amount to keep it alive but not greasy. This is the first thing I apply to my face when I have an early morning to wake me up. As for makeup, it makes it hard to sit on the skin. It does not prep the skin, nor makes it last enough time for a night out, or even a few hours. It melts into the skin very fast, making it a good and a bad thing. Bad because the skin will feel dry very fast, applying it more and therefore making the product empty again after a short time. And good, so you can move into the next step in the skincare routine.
Both products have good and not-so-good sides. I wouldn't say they complement each other, but that simply the "Always An Optimist 4-In-1 Mist" has more functions, for a lower price than the "The Hydrating Floral Essence" mist. As good the highest price mist can be, the lowest price mist has all in one. However, all of this also depends on the skin type.
