Lex Line Celebrates Big At Kiehl’s Flagship
Last week was the release of our Autumn/Winter ‘18 print issue. To celebrate, the magazine collaborated with Kiehl's at its flagship location. This is the location where Kiehl’s first opened shop in 1851; there are even parts of the store that have remained the same since its birth nearly two centuries ago.
If you have not visited this location, you must! Not only will you be able to see how something could possibly stay intact since 1851, but you can also receive a free skin consultation, where you can develop personal products that are just right for your skin type.
The rich history in the space mixed with the modern influence of the store today made for the perfect ambiance to celebrate one of the best issues of the magazine so far. The venue was filled with more than 200 mingling guests throughout the evening. When attendees were not glued to the pages of the magazine, they were discovering luscious beauty products or sampling the highly addictive Undercover Quinoa provided in the gift bags. Looking back on the evening, the release of the A/W ‘18 magazine brought people together from many different walks of the fashion industry and allowed for creatives to connect.
This issue also marks the farewell to two of its most valued members: Keely Schooley-McCormick, Editor-In-Chief, and Pearl Dorman, Executive Editor. Both will be moving on into their Senior Co-op semester, and while it was heartbreaking to let them go, the Lexington Line team will always keep their spirit with the magazine.
