I've Just Seen A Face
I’ve just seen a golden face dangling from a blogger’s ears. I went to an art show in Brooklyn and met Orion Carloto, a poet and social media influencer, and she was wearing wire earrings that bent into soft curves. Her earrings ended up resembling a Picasso drawing of a face. This Picasso-inspired style, created from one continuous line, has lately been the newest accessory trend. It is perfect for all of you that adore museum hopping or if you're an ‘artsy’ girl (or boy). Also, this design detail isn’t exclusive to just earrings either.
Brands like Ellipsee includes other Picasso-esque accessories such as necklaces and hair clips made from a thin gold wire or a gold plate. Also, Somme Studio makes a rectangular silver plate etched with a face doodle design. My absolute favorite accessory featuring this trend is Benedetta BruZZichies handbags. Three different types feature this trend. The Brigitte bag with the sleeping beauty design (a sketch of a sleeping girl), which comes in small and big wintergreen and a big black leather version. The Gabriella bag, which features the sleeping beauty design comes in medium brown, tan, and purple leather. The Dalidà bag, with the sleeping beauty design, is embroidered on white, black and wintergreen leather. If you’re ever in need of adding a little art to your ensemble, consider this sketched face design.
