Alison Ungaro, CEO of luxury jewelry brand Personage, talks about her business that highlights the culture behind accessories.

I sat down with Alison to discuss all things Personage, including her “Homage to Hoops” Collection featuring Latinx and Indian inspired jewelry, with more collections on the way like Black Power and Self-Love, to name a few. One look at Personage’s Instagram takes viewers into a dreamy and diverse collection of models wearing hoops, nose-rings, and other statement earrings.

There’s also a huge emphasis on #girlpower that is evident in her photos where women share the space in photographs, or stand alone confidently. Personage is the future of jewelry, and represents the future of fashion as creators pay homage to their heritage, and reclaim the spaces that commonly leave them out.
