Wear or Tear: Euphoria Edition S2E4

Euphoria episode 4, “You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can,” left us with a lot of uncertainty about what is going to happen the rest of the season, but one thing we are certain about is the killer outfits in this episode. Could it be possible that they’re all winners? We’ll see as we wear or tear outfits from episode 4 of Euphoria.

Maddy (Alexa Demie) blew out her birthday candles as her outfit blew us away. As expected, she celebrated in style. Maddy wore a Marc Jacobs x Devon Lee Carlson Devon Slip Dress. This short, black, spaghetti strap dress with contrasting lace trim had an "M" charm on either strap. “M” for Maddy of course, or Marc Jacobs, as Heidi Bivens (Euphoria costume designer) comically mentioned in the Euphoria recap video. There is no doubt that Maddy looked phenomenal.

No matter how hard Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) keeps trying to be Maddy, her secrets are eating her alive. Good thing she got it all out of her system in this episode—literally. She brought out her Gemma wrap one-piece swimsuit from Frankies Bikinis. This hot pink swimsuit had high leg cuts, a simple triangle neckline, adjustable neck ties, and sexy wrap-around details. As Sweeney said in the Euphoria recap video, it needed to be risqué—and we definitely agree.

Can we all agree this outfit is incredible? Yeah, it’s a wear!

Twitter fans have been going crazy over Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and her new look. User @frazbelina wrote, “Barbie did give one of the best line readings of the season.” But, have her outfits obtained the same reputation?

In episode 4 of season 2, Kat was wearing Aune Collections. The mesh dress was printed with motifs, she paired this with matching gloves and a scarf that can be wrapped around your neck, or draped over your shoulders. “Kat grows up very fast over these two seasons,” Heidi Bivens tells Variety magazine—Kat, don’t worry, we are keeping up with you.

So, have her outfits obtained the same reputation? It’s a wear, yes!

Lexi (Maude Apatow) has been pretty consistent this season. Lexi has been taking notes on everyone, but we’ve been taking notes on her outfits. In this chaotic episode, Lexi wore an Olivia Rubin Nora Patchwork Silk Dress. Her look displayed a short sleeve, lightweight, non-stretch silk, charmeuse patchwork design dress with an embroidered collar and a ladder stitch trim v-neck. Truly dress to fall in love with.

It’s a wear!

We fell in love with Lexi and her outfits, but we’re still waiting for her and Fez (Angus Cloud) to fall in love with each other. For now, we’ll just have to focus on Fez's outfit. In this episode, Fez was wearing a Ralph Lauren capsule polo shirt in a multi-navy color. Understated but always in the know, Fez has an eye for subtle pieces that are always a big flex.
