Zodiac Playlists: Pisces
Calling all spicy Pisces—it’s your season. Pisces season started on February 19th and will come to an end on March 20th. This water sign is represented by two fish swimming in opposite directions. “These impressionable fish prefer wearing rose-colored glasses to addressing problems,” says astrologer for Allure Aliza Kelly, “which can earn Pisces a reputation for being flaky or delusional.”
In honor of this Pisces season, here are two playlists to share creative music artists with their sun in Pisces and artists that are sensitive, yet spicy like Pisces.
Sun in Aquarius
Pisces are all about creativity, so it’s no wonder there are so many great artists that aren’t afraid to show their sensitive side. With a mix of genres from ‘90s punk to 2010s R&B, we have both ends of the music spectrum and everything in between.
We start off with a Gen-Z fan favorite, Olivia Rodrigo with pop-rock hits like “brutal” from her debut album SOUR. Then we have our favorite ballad from the Pisces queen Rihanna, “Higher” and an absolute banger, “Cockiness (Love It).” In honor of the late Kurt Cobain, we have some punk sounds from Nirvana, including “Come As You Are,” one of their most cherished songs. Spread throughout we have popular Pisces beats from Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Justin Bieber, Grimes, and more.
Vibes for Pisces Season
Get on your rose-colored lens’—we’re romanticizing life and getting in touch with our emotions. Pisces are “emotionally oriented,” says The Cut reporter Claire Comstock-Gay “feeling everything deeply.” This season focus on your emotions and the creativity that flows from them. And hey it’s okay to cry, you know what they say flowers can’t grow without rain.
With a mix of pop and R&B, This playlist has all the songs you need to tap into those emotions of yours and get creative this season.
We start out with a funky beat from Dreamer Isioma, titled “Sensitive”—fitting right? Then we have some soulful sounds from Dijon with “Rodeo Clown” that will have you in your feels. Then we move into hip-hop with Brockhampton’s “BOY BYE” for the spiciest of Pisces. We finish out the playlist with Childish Gambino (Donald Glover)’s “Feels Like Summer,” because what emotional water sign doesn’t crave the warmth of summer?
Happy Pisces season everyone! Even if you do not have Pisces in your chart, you can still listen to these playlists to help you to embrace your emotions and tap into your creativity.
