Sweetest Pie: Dua Lipa x Megan Thee Stallion Collab

“You’ve never been to Heaven, have you?” What is a better way to celebrate Women’s History Month than a collaboration from our two favorites? Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion released their new single “Sweetest Pie” on March 11th.

Both women let fans know that something was coming on their Instagram accounts just four days prior to the release of the song. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion posted an adorable image of her and Dua with their faces on cakes—delicious.

The Future Nostalgia pop-star Dua Lipa posted a picture of her and Megan looking cool and classy in their black gloves, graphic eyeliner, and large statement jewelry.

This tune is truly sweeter than pie. The upbeat, futuristic tune is 3 minutes and 21 seconds of pure joy. We promise you, “this is the ride of your life,” listening to these incredible women.

As if the song itself wasn’t iconic enough, Dua and Megan gave us a music video as well. This spunky song was shot in an almost dystopian fantasy world where the two ladies rule—obviously.

The Dua-Stallion duo performed the song with sets switching between bright, bubbly colors, and black and red. In the darker shots, the girls are seen wearing edgier clothing such as black latex outfits, emerald jewelry, and sheer tights.

In the lighter shots, Dua and Megan were wearing corsets and their hair in updos—giving serious Marie Antionette vibes. We should always let these two eat cake!
