Bold Eyes and Dewy Skin: Paris Fashion Week’s Beauty Breakdown

This season, Paris Fashion Week was about collaboration between bold eyes and glass skin looks. Although PFW is about designers showing off their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, the beauty looks are worth looking at.

Dramatic eyes were a particular trend seen throughout multiple shows. On the other hand, we saw subtle and more minimalistic hairstyles and the ever-popular glowy skin. Here’s a breakdown of the top beauty moments that will dominate your makeup bag this season.

Loewe Silver Wings

Loewe's silver-winged eyeliner look was anything but minimalistic. Dame Pat McGrath's metallic look was a unique spin on the classic black winged eyeliner. Minimalism is all the hype right now, with people exploring more subtle and classic looks, but this winged liner will surely shake up current trends.

The fun, bright look was done using Pat McGrath’s latest Luminous Legends: Mega Eye Shadow Palette. This look and others perfectly complimented Loewe's Spring 2025 Ready to Wear Collection

Silky Satin Blow Dries

Silky straight satin blowdries done by celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight MBE was the hottest hair trend at Paris Fashion Week. These shiny, smooth lengths were seen on the runways of Balmain and Courrèges.

McKnight used his Modern Hairspray for the long-last hold and topped it off with his Love Me Do Nourishing Shine Oil. Olivier Rousteing’s collection inspired Balmain’s looks with its simplicity. However, Courrèges took on a more futurist look with the satin blow dry by pairing it with a black bold and long eyeliner, long tasseled earrings, and wispy lashes.

These looks may be different, but they will surely be seen throughout the streets for their simple yet effortless nature.

Rabanne’s Dewy Glossy Skin

If Rabanne’s S/S ’25 collection taught us one thing, it’s that the dewy skin trend is here to stay.

Rabanne’s beauty director, Diane Kendal, approached this with their Fresh Touch Foundation and Liquid Glitter Shot to create the ultimate dewy look. Their highlighter created an ethereal, wet, glass-like finish to the skin. This new foundation and liquid highlighter method is the perfect no-makeup makeup look that will surely replace the popular skin-tint trend.

Mugler’s Asymmetrical Bangs

Mugler’s bobs and asymmetrical bangs will surely be the talk of the latest season. The eye-covering long systematical bangs are not practical by any means; however, this avant-garde hairstyle is surely a piece of art.

The hairstyle can be seen in multiple Mugler S/S'25 Collections. American rapper and songwriter Cardi B was also seen rocking these sharp bangs.

Chanel’s Sequin Eyeliner

Loewe wasn’t the only designer to feature electrifying eye looks. Chanel decided to ditch glitter and shimmer and use sequin strips to create a liner effect. Before using the sequin strips, they used the brand’s Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner on the waterline and their Le Liner De Chanel Liquid Eyeliner on the upper lash line for a defined look.

While this look may not be your run-of-the-mill daily liner look, it will be a hit on a night out.
